Five advices by Business Coaches I ignored thanks to Human Design

I have worked with many incredible business coaches over the years. But I’ve absolutely had some dodgy marketing advice along the way.

*while I am a business coach myself, my greatest advice is always “trust yourself the most”

In this blog post, I will share the top five things that business coaches suggested I do over the years that my Human Design gave me the confidence to ignore.

NUMBER ONE: Don't become a Business Coach.

One of the most laughable things that a business coach suggested to me was not to become a business coach. However, following my Human Design made it clear that it was the right move for me. My 30+ years of experience in Advertising/Marketing/Business gave me the confidence I needed to succeed in this space.

NUMBER TWO: You need a narrow niche or your business won't work.

I spent a lot of time trying to find a narrow niche that would work for me, but it didn't allow me to bring out my best. I am at my best when I'm combining modalities, and that is exactly what my Human Design revealed to me. I am a polymath and I fuse Marketing + Spirituality + Intuitive business coaching to create something amazing.

NUMBER THREE: Don't launch a Mastermind and/or don't call your Mastermind a Mastermind it's a group coaching program.

I've had two coaches tell me not to launch a Mastermind and to call it a group coaching program instead. However, my intuition told me that women wanted this from me. My Mastermind has brought in many multiple 6 figures over three incredible years.

NUMBER FOUR: It's best to charge USD, it's what high-level brands do, and that's what you want to become.

I followed this advice for a while, but I realized that I didn't want to charge my clients USD when they're in Australia and there are wild currency fluctuations. My Human Design is all about lowering resistance and meeting your ideal state, where success flows.

NUMBER FIVE: "Your brand & messaging is less about YOU and more about what your ideal clients want."

While there is some truth to this, people buy how you make them feel. Focusing on formulaic marketing lingo has had its day. Your most ideal clients buy from you when you're being true to whom you're designed to be. You will show up at a higher frequency when you are fully aligned with your brilliance.
