LIMITLESS coaching abundance & my journey to premium pricing #96

I honestly thought coaching wasn't a 'real' opportunity when it came to the kind of  lifestyle I desire (and to be honest had become accustom to during my corporate days).

So even though I valued it.

And even though I studied coaching......

I put it on the "not going to support me effectively" pile and focussed my attention elsewhere.

As it turned out I just didn't know better.

Thankfully the universe did not take a no from me and kept throwing this direction in my path.

In the end I decided to coach..... even if I would need to adjust my lifestyle to do it. And I did do that adjusting thing for a while too.

Because once I started being paid to coach there didn't seem to me any other option.

It's in the way I'm wired.

It's always been there.

It lights me up like nothing else!

In fact when I had a psychic reading with @happy_souls_and_co a couple of weeks ago, she connected into my past lives and guess what I was doing?  Yep, COACHING. Also yes she's fab and you should book in for a reading.

And almost three years since my coaching business began, I've created a reality far beyond what I perceived possible.

But it's been a process, which I will suspect will be the case for you too.

In this episode I transparently share my 1:1 pricing from the very beginning through to today.

It's one of the few shows I've recorded and then felt resistance publishing.

Which I figure means it's a good one.

Legally speaking with Tracey Mylecharane episode #95

I'm going be to be honest and share that it's less that this podcast episode is over due and more that this whole subject matter is!

Meet Tracey Mylecharane my newly appointed solicitor.

And yes it took me over two years of coaching privately and 18 months of hosting a mastermind to do the thing that is invest in legal support (and set up formal contracts).  I had contracts mind you, but they weren't endorsed by a lawyer.

Now that I've have made this move it's especially clear why it's so important to have done so. Because even though nothing catastrophic came my way (gratefully!), there have certainly been avoidable awkward style moments.

But here's the thing.....

Growing a business is a always about balancing what you need with what you want.

And our individual perceptions are going to impact which you file under what column.

For me....legal support was a want rather than need.  Sorry Tracey!! I've now learned the error of my ways....and my audience is about to gain a whole tonne of insight as a result.

The gold in a strategic business model Episode #92

Strategic pricing & abundance, episode #91

If I had a $ for every conversation I've had on but 'how much' should I charge, I'd be loaded!

No but seriously....you're not alone if you're wondering;

  • how much will my audience actually pay for this?

  • should I charge less because I'm new to xyz?

  • where do I even start?!

But here's the thing....

Pricing is more strategic than you realise & it's as much a marketing tactic as a sales tactic.

Not only that but you're probably doing it wrong (sorry not wrong) if you're more focussed on your clients (because you have no idea of their money beliefs) than on the transformation you provide them....which is worthy of the premium pricing you desire.

The how behind an $80k sales week in my biz episode #90

I have the stats to show that you my lovely audience LOVE it when I talk about money and get specific about the how....my episode titled $70k to $210k in a single year was the number one most downloaded in 2021!

This week, I'm sharing the details of how I managed to create an $80k sales week in my business in the lead up to Xmas.

Gosh it just dawned on me that this is more than I brought in the first year in my business OR in the FISCAL 19/20!  What the what?!

Now I'm not one to tell you it's easy.  But nothing you really want is, am I right?!

Or to gloss over some pretty major realities....

Like - of course there was a whole lot of patience & personal development to get me here.

Although I will say this for sure:  this level of business maturity is 100% available to you too.

It will take from you.....and it will give you more in return.

Stop papering over the cracks, a solo episode #89

This week in pausing to review + reflect on 2021 & make sure that I fully integrate what it taught me......I realised how important this is to your growth too.

Because here's the thing...if we don't anchor in our lessons, we run the risk of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results (thanks Einstein!).

Now I will be honest & say this isn't my favourite thing to do. I'm a learn the lessons quick and keep moving kind of human. A don't look back, we aren't going that way type.

And yet....we do want to make sure our lessons have thoroughly landed.

It's in this process we can let go of what we don't need and ensure we take all the wisdom we've gained forward. That's the stuff of growth.

In other words, we make sure NOT to paper over the cracks!

This help you calibrate to a higher level and ready yourself to step UP into the year ahead rather than across to it.

Calibration is on my heart this week as I finesse my 2 part "calibrate to catapult" business planning event next week.

From the road...team support and YOU in 22, solo episode with Yvette #88

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!

This is a bit of a rambling one as I travel (actually drive) towards packing up my house for sale!

Apologies about the quality of the audio, but stay with it, there's so much goodness on the inside.

Firstly I give you an inside look at the mechanics of selling my home & settling into the home base that is a shared holiday house.

Then I move into sharing how powerful it's been to finally take growing a team seriously.

This journey for me hasn't been without failed attempts, challenges in letting go of the "I can do it better" isms and fear (like what if I can't afford it every single month).

BUT, mid this year I knew enough was enough, it was time to operate from a place of delayed gratification....appreciating that teams mature like fine wine....gaining in value until they are literally the foundation that allows quantum leap growth.

More recently when I hired an Exec V, I took a bolder step into running my team as a full on CEO with a growing empire.
