As a coach, seeing my clients succeed and thrive is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. But nothing could have prepared me for the overwhelming sense of joy and fulfilment I felt when every single one of my Mastermind clients committed to working with me for the entirety of 2023.
It was in December of 2022 that I received the incredible news that every one of my clients had agreed to continue working with me for another year. This amounted to a 100% retention rate, with some individuals having already worked with me for two consecutive years prior. To say that I was moved to tears would be an understatement. Happy tears flowed down my cheeks, despite my undefined solar plexus!
It's worth noting that the tears I shed weren't just due to the recurring revenue generated by these commitments. Instead, I was overcome with emotion when I realized the level of trust and loyalty my clients had in me. It was a testament to the quality of my coaching, the strength of my relationships, and the exceptional results my clients had achieved.
However, I knew that achieving this level of success was no accident.
Client retention is not something you hope for - it's something you intentionally work towards by showing up and serving your clients to the best of your abilities. It involves offering exceptional service, delivering on your promises, treating your clients with respect, and meeting their unique needs.
And that's where Human Design comes in.
Utilizing Human Design has been a game-changer for me when it comes to meeting my clients' individual needs. Human Design offers a level of nuance and depth that is impossible to achieve otherwise. Before I underwent my Human Design training in 2020, non-energy types would occasionally confuse me. For instance, Projector clients would leave a call saying they were doing one thing, only to work on something completely different between our calls. This would often leave my "little" Generator sacral frustrated. But after my training, my interactions with these clients became entirely different and more valuable. I was able to help them step into their own wisdom and energetic truth.
Fast forward 2.5 years, and even my least "woo" clients have referenced Human Design as a significant factor in their loyalty to my coaching.
This is why I made the conscious decision to shift Human Design from being something I used to do in the background to central to front-end support. And while this shift was intentional, I still couldn't help but cry happy tears when the consequence was 100% client retention!
At the end of the day, client retention is a reflection of the effort and intention you put into your coaching business. If you consistently offer exceptional service, deliver on your promises, treat your clients with respect, and meet their unique needs, you will undoubtedly achieve the same level of success and growth.
And by incorporating practices like Human Design, you can take your coaching to a whole new level of success.
