The Human Design transits are incredibly powerful when it comes to your marketing, as they help you tune into the changing cosmic frequencies.
There are two ways you might experiment with the transits in your marketing:
At a collective level, tapping into the active planets, gates & energetic themes
Your own experience of the impact of the transits on your blueprint and the way that influences your energy
1. The Collective level
At a high level, you can use the transit chart to help you feel into the “background frequency” and create marketing (and messaging) that will resonate more effectively as a result.
The Sun, as the most dominant transit, holds significant influence in the same way it does in Astrology. But here’s a key difference - its movement activates the energy of a new Human Design gate, every six days (vs just 12 signs in Astrology). This means a new gate & energy to discover and experiment with every week.
As I write this piece it’s early August 2023 and the sun is in Gate 7. Gate 7 is known as “the Army” in Human Design and has a lot of leadership energy to it. So what does this mean for communication? Here is my perspective:
GATE SEVEN THEME: COLLECTIVE INFLUENCE
The courage to exercise an authoritative tone & the grace to acknowledge the village. Leadership through influence not seniority.
Marketing implications:
Recognition of the importance of team & community in the mission.
Insights: Now is an amazing time to celebrate the support you receive & encouraging others to do the same. You might even want to take this moment to share that while you have grown, it wouldn’t have been possible without others (and name them).
Of course the sun is not alone in its transiting. The cosmos is alive with planetary moment, some planets moving quickly (like Mercury), others moving very slowly (eg. Jupiter). All planets move between the Human Design gates and play different roles.
For marketing specifically, another planet I keep an eye on is Mercury as it’s the planet of communication. Observing the gates that Mercury moves through is more stimulus for our content and messaging. Although be warned, she moves fast at times (like every couple of days, and goes backwards only to go forward again - retrograde - repeating the same gates many times).
This week Mercury is steady in gate 64 “the gate of confusion” let’s interpret this for communication:
GATE 64 THEME: A BETTER WAY
The knowledge that accepting and welcoming confusion is the gateway to creativity, imagination and inspiration.
CONTENT IMPLICATIONS: Encouraging others to have patience & confidence that their ideas are valid, valuable and worthy of seeing through. Inspire others to dream big!

2. Your own experience of the transits and the energy that moves through you
If you are reading this and you have a lot of open space in your chart, especially if you’re a Reflector, it’s important to appreciate that you will personally feel the impact of the transits more than others. It’s like the background frequency volume is more amplified for you. This means you will feel even more aligned to working with the transits energy in your marketing.
But more broadly, it’s true to say that transits do not alter our individual charts. The energetic structure of our blueprint remains unchanged.
“However, transits offer us a temporary taste of experiencing specific energies directly”
They might even grant us temporary definition in certain centers, lighting up channels that amplify our capabilities in for instance strategic areas or giving us better powers of communication.
This is another aspect of the transits I find incredibly valuable. My chart is incredibly open and yet as a personal brand I am often needing to be eloquent, clear and compelling in what I have to say.
But with an open head, ajna and throat….this can feel all sorts of challenging at times! I mean, what was I going to say again? And also did that even make sense 🤩.
Which is exactly why I like to work with the transits to decide when I’m going to record my podcast or go live on social media. Today is a good day for me (all three are temporarily defined) so YAY I went live into my Facebook group and it felt incredibly natural….no pauses or losing my train of thought whatsoever 💃🏻.

A final note that’s worth sharing; if you’re a Generator or Manifesting Generator, you are designed to navigate the world succesfully by being in response. This is absolutely true for marketing, so I know for sure, working with the transits will support you, as they give you something tangible & relevant to respond to. It’s a wonderful thing.
