WHAT IS GATE 6 IN HUMAN DESIGN?
Gate 6 in Human Design is called the gate of ‘friction’ or ‘conflict’ which brings with it a quest for awareness and peace. It is the design of growth through ‘friction’, which is;
The energy for producing life itself
Gate 6 sits in the Solar Plexus, the emotional awareness center and is connected to the Sacral via Gate 59 (Sexuality).
Together, they form the channel of Intimacy / mating (6 - 59), where the emotional wave of Gate 6 is met with intimate life force of Gate 59 to overcome any barriers to connection.
Gate 6 is the barrier, the gate that decides whether potential connections (outside our body) should be allowed in or not, based on the emotional frequency.
Whereas gate 59 seeks to break those barriers in order to create bonds/connections.
Gate 6 is the birthplace of all emotions, moods and feelings and lends to the friction that all this emoting can create. But it also allows for emotional mastery in any relationship - be it in life or business.
People with gate 6 are typically empaths and become masters at resolving conflicts by weighing the emotional aspects in any conflict and balancing them for peace.

As I write this post, Gate 6 is stationed in the Solar (sun) transit which happens in around mid September each year.
From a marketing perspective, it’s a good time to showcase how emotional resonance can be achieved through emotional attunement and mastery, for achieving peace of mind or peace more broadly.

THE SHADOW OF gene key 6 is conflict
…which is rooted in emotional suppression due to the lack of safety to express emotions. Also, the conflict arises from difficulty handling extreme emotional states.
When emotions are suppressed, it creates health issues as well as conflict within ourselves and with others.
The shadow of conflict can either manifest as an attempt to maintain control of the emotional environment through people pleasing - or as the inability to regulate emotions, often giving into anger and fear and projecting it onto others (lashing out or walking away).
The way out is to take responsibility for your emotions, so you can break this pattern.
